Background
Bram is a privacy, data strategy, and litigation-trained attorney who brings a mentor’s experience and a practitioner’s eye to legal recruiting. He has advised technology, media, entertainment, and advertising clients on privacy compliance and cybersecurity, drafted and negotiated a full range of data-related agreements, and litigated complex matters from discovery through hearings and trial support. His path through BigLaw and elite boutiques gives him a grounded sense of what different firms value, how teams run, and which environments help lawyers do their best work.
Before recruiting, Bram practiced at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz and Goodwin Procter in privacy and cybersecurity, and at BraunHagey & Borden and Simpson Thacher in complex litigation. He mentored junior lawyers and summer associates, contributed to attorney recruiting and evaluations, and became the person teammates called for clear thinking and calm client communication on complex problems.
As a seasoned attorney who has worked with recruiters himself while navigating past career moves, Bram understands the candidate’s perspective, and is a credible, personable, and thoughtful partner for both lawyers and firms. He listens for what motivates each candidate, including the work they want more of, the culture that fits, and the long-term arc they are building. From there, he curates roles that align with those goals, translating a candidate’s story into the specific value a client will recognize.
With law firm clients, Bram is a strategic partner who understands the realities behind each search. He digs into practice mix, utilization, team dynamics, and client base to surface candidates who will thrive, not just fit on paper.
What sets Bram apart is practitioner credibility, clear and candid communication, and meticulous client service. Hands-on experience with privacy frameworks and commercial agreements, plus trial-tested litigation work, lets him evaluate skills beyond buzzwords and prepare candidates for substantive interviews. He translates complex backgrounds into concise narratives firms can act on, gives direct feedback that moves the ball forward, and runs an efficient, respectful process for everyone involved.
Outside the office, Bram can be found baking, playing pickleball, exploring Los Angeles, booking a last-minute trip to his home state of Vermont, or lifting.
