Lee is originally from Maryland, and attended both college and law school on the East Coast. She then moved to California and practiced law for several years at two large international law firms in the Bay Area. Her practice focused on all aspects of local and international employment law.

Lee enjoys traveling and has lived and worked abroad in Spain, France and Argentina. In her free time, Lee enjoys acting, theater, and learning languages.
