Prior to joining the SLS team, Claudia completed her B.A. in Communications Studies at UCLA in 1989, and graduated from Loyola Law School in 1992. She practiced law in Los Angeles with a mid-sized firm where she focused on employment work, securities matters before the NASD, as well as general commercial litigation matters. As a senior associate with her firm, Claudia participated in all aspects of recruiting and hiring of summer associates and lateral attorneys, and found she really loved that aspect of the law. Claudia left her practice in 1998, and fulfilled her lifelong dream of living and working in Rome, Italy. While in Rome, she worked as a liaison for an Italian manufacturer and their English-speaking clientele. Claudia also taught English to Italian Senate Members, business people, and attorneys.

Claudia has been with SLS since 1999, and brushes up on her Italian by speaking with new-found Italian friends and sampling her husband's Roman cooking. Claudia is an avowed entertainment junky, loves to go to the cinema and rents films as often as possible. With the addition of her two young children, Claudia finds actually getting to the movies difficult, but still managed to host her world famous annual Oscar bash this year.
