Prior to joining the SLS team, Christie practiced litigation and transactional environmental law for nine years in Los Angeles.  Christie graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Analysis and Design and Political Science.  She received her J.D. from Pepperdine Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School with a Master of Studies in Environmental Law degree. 

Christie is happily married to a non-lawyer and spends her time at the beach, doing yoga, and cooking.
