Prior to joining the SLS team, Catherine practiced law in Los Angeles for several years, litigating a variety of business, employment and entertainment matters. Catherine received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was awarded the Witkin and CALI Excellence Award in Negotiation/Mediation, Procedure and Practice. While in law school, Catherine externed for the Honorable Stephen J. Hillman, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Before law school, Catherine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Sciences from Northwestern University.

During her free time, Catherine loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Hunter and Lulu. Owing to her husband, who was a stuntman for many years and now directs stunts on television shows and movies, Catherine enjoys keeping up with all things entertainment-related. Catherine also enjoys doing Pilates, reading and traveling.
